Yarndale comes to Skipton

The last weekend in September saw an explosion of colour and creativity descend on the cobbled streets of Skipton. A delightful market town in my home county of Yorkshire, Skipton was home to the first ever Yarndale this year, an event where new and established creatives got together to celebrate crafts using wool, cotton, linen and silk and show off their woolly wares.

This was a delight my creative little sister couldn’t resist, and after the event she sent me a few pics of the creative festivities. You can read more about the festival on the Yarndale website. As the event was such a success there is talk of it returning next year, so watch this space!
